By now, you might have heard about Danielle Bregoli, the Cash Me Outside Girl, having her Instagram "hacked" and replaced with videos about how we glorify stupidity, then having a countdown for "leaks" on Wednesday.

This is so obviously viral marketing, probably for something stupid. If the production itself, with its cute logo and fake film effects didn't reek enough of a Hollywood farce, why would Instagram allow such a large, valuable account to stay "hacked" for over twelve hours?

How are so many people falling for this?
